Community Guidelines
Last updated 15 July 2026 · Effective 15 July 2026
Akewe works best when creators can share freely and viewers feel safe. These guidelines describe what we expect. They go together with our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
1. The spirit of Akewe
Make things you are proud of. Share ideas, stories, skills, and moments. Assume good faith in others, and add to the community rather than tearing it down.
2. Safety, especially for minors
Nothing on Akewe may endanger children. Content that sexualises minors, or exposes them to harm, is banned and reported to the authorities. We do not run advertising or advertising-and-analytics tracking against viewers we know to be minors. If you see something that puts a young person at risk, report it right away.
3. Respect and harassment
No hate, threats, or harassment based on who someone is. No doxxing, no coordinated abuse, no encouraging others to attack a person or channel. Disagreement is fine; cruelty is not.
4. Authenticity
Be who you say you are. No impersonation, no fake engagement, no scams, and no misleading titles or thumbnails just to farm clicks. Trust is what makes a creator's audience real.
5. Sensitive content
Some content is not for everyone. Where content is mature but allowed, it may be age-restricted or placed behind a warning. Content that glorifies serious harm, or that exists mainly to shock, is not allowed.
6. What happens if you break the rules
Depending on the situation we may remove content, apply an age restriction or warning, issue a strike, limit features, or close an account, and report to the authorities where required. To flag something, use the report option on the video or comment, or reach us through the contact page.
